Loading A New Horizon...
A whole new range of possibility
We have now moved from our old hacky pipeline to a brand new one which uses Pixel shaders to render weapon finishes. Every single weapon finish unboxed from today will be 100% unique whether that would be wear or pattern; Every item will be unique
We support all of the standard CS:GO Styles (Solid Colour, Hydrographic, Spray-Paint, Anodized, Anodized Multicolored, Anodized Airbrushed, Custom, Patina and Gunsmith). In addition we've got two new styles: Animated and Chromatic.
Animated: Allows up to three separate areas within a finish to receive colour animation.
Chromatic Allows up to three separate areas within a finish to allow recoluring of certain areas. Works similar to animated but with no animations.
We have also gone through all of the weapon finishes and added custom wear masks where appropriate, I want to give a shoutout and thank you to Blazing for taking the time to make the custom wear masks to make weapon finishes look great, even in battle scarred.
The Workbench is available to all players from today to test and create your own finishes and submit them to the Lambda Workshop.
Stickers - Reimagined
Old School Dystopian Gaze
Stickers have been updated to use shaders which brings new styles such as Holographic, Lenticular and more. The new system also allows for fine grained scratching and wearing, and the best part, it's now easier than ever for the community to author brand new stickers!
Within the coming weeks, we'll be updating the documentation for creating new stickers and providing an in-game tool (Similar to Workbench) that allows you to create, preview and publish stickers.

This update introduces a new concept for obtaining skins: Laptop Terminals.
Terminals are free to open and you receive 5 offers for different weapon finishes within the Genesis collection.
Unlike with regular cases, Terminals provide weapon finishes only and do not provide offers for rare items.
All Terminals are sealed at first, and in order to access to the terminal, you must unseal it. Once this has done, the laptop cannot be traded or sold.
Once open, Terminals expire after 3 days.

Graffiti Overhaul
This update we took some time to start refactoring some of the oldest (and quite frankly most poorly written) parts of the code. One of the first things we targeted was Graffiti. There's a lot of potential we just didn't use last time
Graffiti now uses the Source Engine decal system rather than just being a selfillum 2D object in 3D space. Graffiti now wraps around corners as you would expect with standard Source Engine player sprays.
All aspects of the system have been rewritten from the ground up, including the UI which now uses 2D shaders to draw timed circles and more.

Chat Wheel
With this update, we've really started to take real advantage of shaders, and today a new feature for all gamemodes based on the Lambda Counter-Strike Base is a new radial Chat Wheel
The Chat Wheel has 3 pages of common radio commands and other gamemodes which derive from the LCS base gamemode can take full advantage of this. Prop Hunt Remastered which is coming in a few weeks uses this for props to seamlessly play taunts.
Make your Mark
This update brings CS-like position pinging to Lambda. In all gamemodes that derive from Lambda Counter-Strike, this feature is available. It works with map surfaces and entities such as weapons and the C4
Pinging is bound to middle mouse by default, and can be changed by going to !options and then "Binds".
